Project Intelligence for Project Online beta release
Seattle, WA – May 31, 2016 – ShareAdvance, Inc., provider of the leading platform for project trend and predictive analytics, is pleased to announce the beta version of Project Intelligence for Microsoft Project Online. Project Intelligence enables deep insight into current and historical project data, supporting better decisions, process improvement and more consistent on-time on-budget project delivery. Watch the Project Intelligence video or try out the live reports to learn more.
Project Intelligence was developed to give customers faster and easier access to Project Online and Project Server data, using a database hosted in Microsoft Azure and Power Query model for data access.
“We are particularly excited about the ability of Microsoft Power BI to allow for easy visualization of very complex data – though our Power Query model can be used with many visualization solutions,” said Mike Hardy, ShareAdvance CTO. “We can now have a Project Online customer up and running in about 15 minutes within the Microsoft Azure infrastructure.”
Organizations Can Now Access Their Project Online Data Very Quickly
The Project Intelligence database captures project data on a scheduled basis or on-demand. Using the available library of Power BI reports, companies can have access to their data in seconds. The Power Query model is faster and gives access to many fields not available in the standard Project Online OData feed – including any custom fields.
ShareAdvance Project Intelligence Basic and Advanced
- Project Intelligence Basic captures project data and allows access to current state information.
- Project Intelligence Advanced adds the ability to capture any project data field and store it on a regular basis: hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. The resulting time series data enables trend and predictive analytics.
